“It’s nice to know there are still people who take the time to smile, are so generous and kind, and care so deeply about our family members who make Harbor Terrace their home. We cannot thank you enough.”

— The Martinez Family

“Each day Mom was living at Harbor Terrace, I was so grateful that we chose you for Mom. She was truly surrounded by kindness. I couldn’t have asked for more. Each of you contributed to Mom’s comfort and safety during her last years. I will sing your praises forever.”

— Peggy Wormington

“Thank “all” for the lovely time at Harbor Terrace. We felt very welcome. We came home (to North Carolina) feeling relieved knowing our sister Ruby is in such a positive, good , clean, loving environment surrounded by such nice people. We no longer worry about her. We hope to visit again soon!”

— Betty Stevens and Jean Berkson

“All of you have taken the best care of our parents, John and Mabel. We so appreciate you very much and we feel so lucky to have the Harbor Terrace family caring for them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

— John and Sandy Bezel

“I want to express my appreciation to all the staff at Harbor Terrace. A couple of years ago, I realized that I needed to bring my sister Elaine Stoolie to California to be near me. I began looking for “the place.” I went to a number of assisted living residences. I was totally unhappy with what I saw until I came upon Harbor Terrace. I knew it would work perfectly for my sister and it certainly did and more. You people from the top down make Harbor Terrace the unique and wonderful place it is. The setting is most comfortable and the gardens lovely. I felt that you really cared deeply – both physically and mentally for Elaine and that you would do the best for her. I can’t thank you enough for giving me peace of mind and giving my sister her life back. We are in a debt of gratitude.”

— Lisa Stoolie

“We decided to look at Harbor Terrace even though it was about ten miles from our home. We were all pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It was homey; the staff was friendly and seemed to really care about the residents. Dad thought the menu sounded great, and it was reasonably priced. Dad said that we didn’t have to look any further- he couldn’t imagine any place being better, only more expensive. Dad made a wonderful choice and is so happy with his own furniture and life. He loves the food too!”

— Jeri Beck

We even received a thank you note from our visiting pet friend Winston, the cocker spaniel. His master helped him write the note. “Winston and I truly enjoy our visits with you all. Our time together makes us smile for weeks afterwards”.

From Our Residents:

“This year has been a growing experience for me. I was very lost when I came and life did not make much sense to me. I must have needed solitude, books and the medical care. Most of all I needed and received the loving care from all of you. You can be very proud of Harbor Terrace. I have never met such loving and wonderful people under one roof before. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

— Love, Gloria

“Many thanks for all your acts of kindness on my behalf. It is indeed a joy to be here.”

— Nell

“Yesterday was my one year anniversary as a resident of Harbor Terrace. It has been a wonderful year for me and I want to thank all of you for your love and support. I have lost most of my sight, but I have found Gordon so you can see how things work out. God is good. Keep up your wonderful work- you make a lot of people happy, especially me.”

— Many thanks, Elizabeth

“Thank you all for the kind, continuing supportive care”

— Mary Daniel

  • Looking for a place to Live?
  • A good idea I want to give.
  • Harbor Terrace is the Best.
  • Those who live here are so blessed!
  • The house is clean, the rooms are neat
  • Accommodations can’t be beat.
  • We have good food to bring us pleasure
  • And many friends we’ll always treasure.
  • Word games are almost daily sport
  • So don’t count us as one bit short.
  • We exercise to keep us fit,
  • Although we do it while we sit.
  • Events are planned for us to gain
  • Some fun and have an active brain.
  • They treat us all like royalty,
  • For which they get our loyalty.
  • Whenever we may sometimes roam,
  • We’re always glad to come back home.
