Director of Resident Services:
Having the honor of being employed by Harbor Terrace for 30 years, Danee has been in the field of gerontology for over 40 years. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science with a minor in Gerontology from Loyola Marymount University, she was instrumental in opening up 7 new retirement communities in various cities throughout Southern California. From there, she took all the experience and knowledge she had gathered and helped build Harbor Terrace into the award winning retirement community it is today. As the Director of Resident Services, one of Danee’s many hats includes meeting all the new residents and making them feel right at home. One of her favorite sayings has come from several of the residents. They say, “Harbor Terrace is just like being on a cruise ship without needing to leave the port!” When not hanging out with the residents, Danee enjoys growing orchids, traveling, tennis, and playing bocce ball.
