In addition, our former homemakers share stories of raising families in extraordinary times.
Outings, games and entertainment planned by our creative activities department keep our residents active and social. Our caregivers offer support and assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, medication management and more. Our housekeeping department keeps the community fresh and linens replenished.

Wellness Program
Harbor Terrace’s Wellness Program inspires our residents to have fun and be more active, making it easier to perform daily activities. Our program aims to improve health and focuses on quality of life. We consider the “whole” person, and put emphasis on physical, mental, social and spiritual wellness.
Besides regular visits from a registered dietician, our kitchen offers daily healthy menus that cater to each resident’s needs. Daily programs include a morning exercise class, which focuses on improving balance, strength, flexibility, cardiovascular function, and breathing. We also offer Dance, Chair Yoga, Tai-Chi that can be done sitting or standing, and walking groups. To exercise the mind, we have a variety of group games, including weekly group crossword puzzles, as well as monthly health screenings or seminars offered to all residents. For the spirit, we offer bible study, and church services for different faiths.
On-Site Entertainers and Celebrations
Here at Harbor Terrace we take fun seriously! We have a variety of live entertainers, including weekly music performances that engage the residents. We offer monthly art history lectures, Trivial Pursuit, pet visits, singing, dancing and even comedy. Every month we celebrate Birthdays with a group party, which always has a special entertainer, singing, and cake. Holidays and events are also celebrated here at Harbor Terrace with themed parties. All are welcome and we can’t wait to see you!
